Your Health. Our Commitment.
At Mother Theresa Medical Centre, we recognise that every patient is different. Your health needs, concerns, experiences and circumstances matter. Our approach is therefore centred on:
Listening to our patients and understanding their concerns.
Treating every patient with dignity and respect, and protecting their privacy and confidentiality.
Providing safe, quality care based on professional standards and clinical evidence.
Communicating clearly so patients understand their care and treatment.
Providing timely and appropriate care, with follow-up and referral when needed.
Promoting preventive care and healthy living.
We build lasting relationships with individuals, families and the community, and we keep improving the quality of our services.
Your Rights
As our patient, you have the right to: receive care with dignity and respect; be given clear information about your condition, treatment and costs; give or refuse consent; privacy and confidentiality; a second opinion; and to make a complaint without fear. These rights follow the Constitution of Kenya and the Kenya Patients' Rights Charter.
Your Responsibilities
We ask patients to: give accurate information about their health; follow agreed treatment plans or tell us if they cannot; treat staff and other patients with respect; and settle bills or provide insurance details promptly.
Feedback
We welcome compliments, complaints and suggestions. Speak to the nurse in charge, use our online feedback form, or call us. We aim to respond to complaints within 5 working days.
